No "real" mail box in this new apartment building,
so the postman tosses the mail on the first steps, does not ring either,
but not a problem as, for now, I go out daily and see what is there.
And today there were 7!
Loooong postcard from the Artist in Seine, clippings from business cards! Fantastic!
and I spy a real King Charles III postage , someone is in the UK:
A postcard arrived from IUOMA member #1000, jjalltheway, Jennifer:
so good to see her in the mail, and with CIRCLES!!!
Another postcard is from Jean Miltenberger in Maryland: lovely spiral shell!
...and there are others, 'will blog soon!
Thank you all so much, I really will be away to theGreek island soon,
so I hope everyone will take a "Greek Summer Break" and
wait to send me in September, thanks xxx

Perhaps a small table with a box instead of a letterbox could be placed near the precious walls, with the name of the recipient or the number of the apartment.
Thanks for the suggestions for mail boxes,
and I do have a nice medal one that can hold up to A4 size:
BUT...
The apartment building "committee" long ago decided not to allow anyone to nail or drill into the lovely Pentelic marble walls....and "who needs a mail box these days, everything is online (even the bills)".
Sooooo, I have a neighbor who will check-the-stairs for any stray mail art that might arrive and keep it until I return :-)
It could be an opportunity to create your own mail art mailbox (cardboard box?) inside…..I envision it covered in your own wonderful mail art….or a conglomerate of mail artists’ works. Wish I was there to help make one for you!
Happy it arrived, thanks for posting and enjoy your summer. But who will get you mail while you are gone? There must be some place you can screw a Mailbox to the wall.
Of course we will wait for YOU! Wishing you a lovely summer holiday, and wishing you all the best Kat. Debra
Wouah!
What beautiful colours!
