Lesley Magwood Fraser asemics and trash gift

The Asemics 16 #5 pages are being blogged elsewhere, but while I'm thanking Lesley for throwing in a fantastic 2007 Guide to Culture in Cape Town with tons of pictures and descriptions to use, as she tells me, for trashpo (and I will), I decided to post the front page of her Asemics #5. The pages are all as outstanding and unusual as this first one--am so glad to have them. Thank you very much, Lesley!

May I still love your pages, Magwood? Ok, thanks. Everyone knows you're a fine artist anyway, but now we also know you have really magnificent taste in wrapping paper--so magnificent that it belongs on your resume. The paper goes perfectly with your drawing and asemic writing.

Thanks so much Svenja! Mmmm Nancy I didnt draw the stones - big confession - I photocopied them off some gift wrap that I had, they looked very asemic to me. Then I placed them over one of my garden drawings. And as for gym - a big NO! I have signed up so often for a gym contract and after a few months I stop going, would rahter be in my studio quite frankly, so no more gym for me! I occasionally go walking around the neighbourhood with friends but that's all my exercise, naughty I know. :)))

Yah, you must share your secret for achieving such distances. Maybe you take gym classes or practice with monkeys? I do love stones, and it was a wonderful surprise to have such beautifully drawn ones show up in Asemics #5. As K. says, the fine orange asemic writing is perfect.
