GOTIJ! In the mail box today, a beautiful piece of a masterpiece from Cheryl in South Africa.
Two-sided, one side with a photo image, perhaps of the "whole"?
and the other side: a piece of the masterpiece...painted on canvass!
Just 10 x 15 cm now, a postcard size (6x4 inches) beauty that these critters are admiring.
Fine art work by Cheryl and I hope the original painting did not suffer too much.
It is a beauty! No matter which way we look at it:
The explanation tells of Monday, Chop Day in Kwazulu Natal. Chop, chop!
And so a masterpiece is divided into many smaller masterpieces ...
and then set FREE to go around the world!
...and one piece of the masterpiece came to Greece.
Much appreciated! Send MORE :-) Thank you, Cheryl xxx

I'm with Marie, send a squarrie this way from the "bridge" painting, Cheryl! Nice "Structure"!!
I pre-ordered a squarrie of that one :-)) maybe one day I will re-assemble all the chops I got from Cheryl, into one piece.
That's the first time I'm seeing an EEEEEKKKKK inserted into mail art. Great stuff!
oops, sorry...that should read: two of my ACRYLIC paintings! But they are on paper, not canvass...sigh.
Oh, send some of that heat this way, Cheryl...too cool in Greece to think of spring yet :-( Maybe the sun will shine tomorrow? Last week you chop-chop 4??? Well, you have inspired me to chop-chop one or two of my large watercolor paintings (60 x 80 cm / 2 x 3 feet) into postcard size...and send them off FREE and to the world!
Thank you for blogging :-) - mail is getting to Greece FAST at the moment! Last week saw four pairings getting the Chop - I'm GLAD they're out there, getting to see the world - I'm certain they're enjoying the cooler weather too - good weekend to you MomKat :-) X
