Claudia has expanded my mind with the couches, definitely. I see piles of wrecked furniture by dumpsters all the time. I never really thought of that as Trashpo - until now. Now I see them as these amazing, temporary installations. It's incredible. Really.
DW couches are definately alive--that's why it's so sad when you see those crappy ones piled up at the dumpsters.
If couches aren't alive, why are so many of them fainting?
I think the couch - er davenport - is a fabric-ation. I won't stand for it.
What is DK talking about?
Claudia is Chieftress of Oversight for all things inanimate. She is very diplomatic and does not want other solid seeming ojbects to get jealous, which in my book, makes her a very nice person.

Pillowed with symbols. Couches keep me on the edge of my seat.
Franz- Kliners. The Couch People are eerie to me only because this week I've been walking around a dumpster where people have piled a bunch of trashed furniture including a couch - this stuff looks like it's been in the monkey room at the zoo for a decade. But you could arrange it to look very homey. Oh man, gotta get that camera working.
The Lazyboy DKliners are in a showroom in SoHo. Roberto of Piro Designs created the uphollstery prints (the same used on the Trashpo Ball Gown), but they were accidentally made out of pleather. No Pleather is allowed in the Elgin Mansion for obvious reasons. Claudia's couch people would make a great claymation movie I think!
I wonder if it comes with a D-Kliner.
I was trying to imagine The Elgin Throne but it's probably better to have The Elgin Sofa.
