Comment by William M on August 31, 2023 at 8:27am: i think the wood postcards i've seen for sale here require extra postage(maybe letter rate as opposed to postcard rate) though i think in theory they could be sent as printed matter as well. i've added extra postage to some odd shaped cardboard things i've sent just to be safe. i haven't tried to mail such things from the post office as i'd rather drop it in a box than risk them saying that you can't mail this or that i have to fill out some annoying digital form for it.
