Since 2022-10-07 I have been inviting mail art artists to participate in a crossover project between Mail Art and Artsurprise. I would like to receive material for a collage (one DinA4 page) from the artist's inventory. Rainer Westphal responded with many artist stamps, which I divided into 20 batches. Each batch will be passed on in an ARTSURPRISE BOX (which will be published in 2023).
If the box then finds a new owner, the new owner is invited to create new collages from the existing material and to send one of these collages to the artist who created the original material for these collages. Additionally, the new owner is invited to document his works online and send a collage to the MUSEU DE ARTE CONTEMPORANEO (MUARCO) in Castellon, Spain. If the submission is successful, the collage contribution will be shown in a special exhibition in the museum around 2030.
