And here it is! I told Marie how much I love to eat toasted seaweed and how expensive it is here in Oz, so I suggested that she make me boekies of seaweed and send them to me regularly!

It really looks fabulous in the sun!

Marie added some braille-like text with these rice grains on each page...I thought they were maggots at first, but phew, they weren't...very shiny and translucent nice rice.

Marie wrote;

"thanks for the inspiration! you genius...you may now eat it. Well, the rice might need a bit of boiling."

I think she actually took a bite out of the last page!!!???

Yum, thanks Marie, I hope this is only the first chapter of this epic!! Yip Pea!!

It's worth a try.  Pass the word to Marie.

Sauerkraut boekie?! Maybe a cabbage sent by ship would arrive as sauerkraut?

This is amazing.  Please let Marie know that I like Sauerkraut.  Now there's a challenge!

I'm trying so hard not to eat this book!

Every time I try to make sushi I end up with a bowl of rice and chopped ingredients remaining...my cat and I devour the seaweed, we go mad for it!!!! (especially the seasoned and toasted ones! OMG!!!)

I'll have to keep this book in the envelope because the cat already tried to eat it while it was displayed on the table!

Unique.  Have to borrow Stephanie's words, crazy good... Don't know about the "good" part, I have never eaten seaweed... maybe I too can make a request ;)
