i received Mail Art from William M

love and lust and more from Taiwan!

'love amongst the cupcakes'

'transparent lust'

these are William's titles. as for the 'more', William also included a photocopy-booklet of some Cardboard Heads he recently sent out (perhaps you've received one?).

William appears to be on some sort of head trip ];-) check out the decorated envelope:

and of course the Taiwanese (Chinese?) postage stamps never disappoint; Year of the Dragon yes, but also the stamps that recognize the importance of the postal system (i love my mailbox, too) -

lots of cool washi tape, too.

thanks so much William - watch your mailbox

glad it all arrived. i thought the titles for those cards might amuse you. that cardboard heads project was pretty fun. that new year stamps is kind of cool. i have a soft spot for those oversized stamps though i can't always use them unless the envelope is big enough or the envelope requires postage over a certain amount. the postal employee stamp is based on the "stickers" available on the line messaging app for use with the post office account or something. I have some actual stickers that are similar that a postal employee once gave me when i was mailing some stuff. the tilted mail box is a reference to this:

i had a card from you this week. haven't had a chance to blog it yet, but hopefully soon.
