because Marie Wintzer would want me to have them, he says, she of the disenchanted with anti-art now longing for a movement to anything she wants it to be:
What is MinXus-LynXus?? What is this kit all about? A mix of movements sprouting from other movements like ancient Greek gods being born out of the necks and thighs of other Greek gods? What transpires remains transient. Perhaps De Villo's kit best represents some five stages often witnessed here at IUOMA:
1) unenlightened artist
2) enlightened
3) return to unenlightened artist
4) unenlightened artist attained by everyone
5) unenlightened artist attained by a very few
Bob Dylan was once asked in an interview, "do you find that most things come from within?" and he answered, "most things come from taking chances."
For isn't it in that moment of angst, dissatisfaction, contrast, being unenlightened, and longing for amusement that some great chances are taken? The greatest things then being born: the refrigerator performances, the Trashpo All Stars Series, and the Solar Disk Festival. Thanks, De Villo. This kit is wonderful and, as always, I appreciate the nod to Haptic Poetry. Cheers.

Wow, Bifidus!! That's such a great blog! I'm so happy you got the Solar Disk. De Villo is right when he says I would want you to have it. And he had Dark wall make an extra-special one for you (I think those strokes of thick paint look amazing). What is MinXus. You just said it and you couldn't have said it better. I am once again lost for words...
thank you...
Gosh, this is nice of you, Bifidus. Among all your other designations, you qualify as "Natural Born MinXus." We hope for some new things from you (no pressure) to exhibit during the Solar Festival in July. If not, we'll pull some Bifidus classics from the dusty archives. Thanks again and good to have you back.
Erni, you have been pulled into MinXus-Lynxus, primarily through - who else? - Grigori. He has announced the the plate he sent to Marie for her birthday is an Erni Baer homage. I am just going with the flow and putting DharmaDaDa ATCs in the Minx Kits.

I am with Bifidus that "Minxus is anything Marie Wintzer says it is." Grigori calls it MINnesota flUXus.
Thanks gain, Friends.
