Haunted Asemic Mail From Nancy Bell Scott

This fabulous and decadent envelope arrived from Nancy. It was, indeed, haunted as a Djinn came out as soon as I opened it. He doesn't appear to be causing problems though. She wrote this in dual-language: part English and part Asemic. It brought back so many memories seeing this old library card pocket, which is filled with handwritten bits and pieces-my favorite of which is the stamps sheet minus the stamps. I actually love the stickie part around the stamps so I'm easy to please. The card is for a book called "Animals that frighten people" and I agree with her--would library WOULD throw a book like that out. oh well, better for us to make art with. Nancy shares a love of old text pages and torn strips of paper. Thank you so much for this Nancy. Very unexpected which is my favorite art to receive

Wow, you *are* easy to please -- am filing that fact away for future reference.

"Decadent":  Love it.  I'll sleep better tonight.
