GOTIJ! Mail Art from HeeBee JeeBee Land and from Istanbul, too!

Rare items in the mail box today, and they are soooo appreciated.

TestTower sends the "Squid Patrol" to help collect te "kalamarakia", I am sure!

Always fun to get a card from Test...and the flip side has the TestTower sea and a bit

of 1940's fashion in swim wear!

Thanks a lot, Test!

Kemal in Istanbul sent this unusual yellow and black card:

Knowing I love map fragments, there are a few interesting details.

The tram route in the old city of Istanbul from Eminonu and the Galata Bridge:

stopping at the main trin station: Sirkeci, and Sultan Ahmet mosque ("Blue Mosque"),

and many other areas that I have known. Brought back many nice memories-of-a-city!

And this detail is the "Harem" stop for the ferry boats on the Asian side of the city:

this is not the "Harem" of the Sultan's Palace: Topkapi!

And some great Turkish postage stamps too! Thank you, Kemal!
