When I saw that cute little knitting sheep on Thom's envelope I knew I was in for a treat. I have seen several of his knitted pieces on the blogs, some of them as elaborate as jumpers, they show so much creativity and skill. And we all know that famous TRA LIAM stamp :-))

That little knitting sheep has worked very hard and produced a wonderful knitted postcard. The Indian couple having tea makes it look a bit like an exotic talisman. My favorite part is the back of the card saying "you should be showered with gold", and the three pockets, each containing a sheet of gold. How very sweet, Thom. And how can I resist a gold shower. I'll take it, of course. Thank you so much for this great envelope, Thom, much much appreciated!

OH MY GAWSH!!!  You dirty birdies are going to give me a reputation....  However, now that I think about it, I would now like to recreate this piece and send a copy to Rick Santorum. (This is an inside political joke for all you non-Americans... I'm sure you can find out more about the political candidate Rick Santorum by Googling his name...)

Beautiful documentation in your blog, Marie.  Glad you arrived home safe and sound to receive it.
