fish and gelli plate from Amanda Becerra

A nice gelli plate composition. One or two people I follow on instagram regularly make gel plate art and it's always eye catching. The one time I bought a square of gel it had a strong chemical smell, so I don't remember what I did with it. Next, we turn our attention to a collection of collaged fish swimming about looking for whatever fish eat. It's a nice scene with the seabed, marine plants, and seahorses swimming in the background. No, I don't think I'd want to be a fish. Sure it's fine if you can get into a good school, but there's no internet down there and no mail.

I don't even know about eating seafood anymore since I read they all have mercury in them. Well maybe it's not so bad, but it can cause problems for some people. And then microplastics. What can you do? Just keep swimming along.
