Fiber Art Diorama Mail Art from Vikki Johnson

A most unusual package was left on the front stoop yesterday. Newer IUOMA member Vikki Johnson and I decided to exchange fiber art mail art, so I knew that this amazingly decorated box would contain something quite interesting... I wasn't expecting such a large "production," but quite a lot of work went into this piece...so I'm going to make a visual documentation below... First the outside of the postal package, covered in sparkling undersea creature stickers (which I'ma gonna re-use fer sure on some future projects!), and a few other humorous delights...

Inside... yet another box to open...

Whaaaaa???  Is that a knitted burrito?????!!

Ohhhhhhhhh......

Anchors away!!!

And details!!!!

Beading...

Well...I would bet that Vikki had as much fun putting that together as I had fun opening it up and discovering its nooks and crannies...

Thank you, Vikki, for the joy of surprise!
