Very exotic card arrived from Keith today.

In the jungle, or South Sea Island?...nice tissue overlay

and perhaps Keith's finger print with Elmer's glue????

Flip side of the card has some great "Erni" stampings..."In Erniness We Trust"!

Thanks Keith, and Happy Mail Art 2014 to you, too! PEACE!

p.s.

Like the "Greek" stamp, too...(however...best to delete that Phoenix?)

The secret of a happy life, indeed, Keith! To have fun doing something ...and get paid for it :-)

I think, Erni, it is an inherent quality...at least that is how teaching and making art is for me !

Keep smiling..."In ERNIESTNESS we trust"

Um, not sure how to answer that Erni. There is an old saying that, if you find something that you enjoy and can get paid doing it, then you'll never have to work a day in your life.

This is one of those situations. If people want to give me money to create something for them, goodness gracious, I'm just getting paid to do what I do all the time.

Just because it sounds like work doesn't mean it isn't fun.

I wouldn't know the history of the Phoenix. That's an old US postage stamp issued in 1943. And yes, I did spell it out as Erniestness as a play on the English word earnestness.

LA jungle, very good idea Erni. It is a jungle here in the southland . . . so many exotic plants and palm trees, you would be hard pressed to know what was native and what is from elsewhere. Even my backyard has plants from all points of the world [because I like it that way].

Friday I will be doing a spot inspection on a landscape design I finished last year. Lots of plants from elsewhere in that yard. I'm hoping the citrus grove I planted is doing well.
