It has taken me quite a while to catch up with blogging and there are still a few more Erni related items to post. A few months ago Erni sent out an Eat and Pass package to Kate, which was then passed on to Marina, and then to me. I received it quite a while ago, but I did want to find the right time to document the opening and to day was the day!

As you can see Marina has learned very quickly about bullet proof packaging and to add interest her envelope is tightly covered with a beautiful meandering hand drawn labyrinth. I went about opening the package with the appropriate tools and voila, the Eat and Pass instructions and another little package appeared.
The package contained not one but five (!) cards lovingly covered with labyrinth and writing. It seems to feature a story ny James Krüss, who is know to me as a German children's book author. Wow! Amazing! I am looking forward to reading this, it will be my bedtime reading tonight.

And then, there was the tightly wrapped bar of chocolate originally sent out by Erni, or rather what is left so far. Mmmm!

It is no easy feat to Feed Art to the World, so this this Eat and Pass is taking it´s time to travel around the world. But I am glad Erni started this worthwhile process! Without much further ado I kept a couple of pieces of chocolate and wrapped the rest with a small package, which I had prepared earlier. It is on the way to its next destination in Holland now!  Thank you Erni, Kate and Marina!

I can testify that, even if it looks a bit worn the chocolate is still very good.

@ Momkat, that is why I opened it only now, I knew the temptation to eat it all would have been to great!

Well, they can advertise "less calories" because it is only 100 g and not 300 g !

But I must agree with you, Erni...the BIG bars should be all year long:
