Dustin sent this outrageous piece of art--one of the most unique I have received. It is a trashpo heart and is made to scale from what I could tell. A trashpo Valentine like none I've ever seen. His bits of office 'harware' continue to bring a whole new dimension to trashpo. As Dkult Chaplain he has these words of wisdom:

"Of course, we all must accept-no- LOVE trash to the point where we WRAP it with our never ending embrace"

I'm a believer thank you Dustin!

Wow!! That's incredible. And I thought we were rebels for painting our front steps royal blue once! I'm surprise their housing ordinances allow for this. Now this is a compulsion that has gone horribly right!

The ice palace melted a long time ago in the Chicago Fire

The original comment compared the Elgin Mansion to the winter palace sequences in "Dr. Zhivago."

That's almost bizarre Dustin. "Dr. Chicago" turns out to be an underground film classic, even with ties to the holy John Cage. I think Moan was just reaching for a pun. Those are really great shots.

I had heard of this Angie--we could all buy a house for $100 and create a trashpalace.

That pic of the house Angie posted - that's what I first imagined the Elgin Mansion must look like. You can see even from these shots of Dustin's work on the EM veranda, it's a lot different. Now it's like,, what was that movie with the Winter Palace?

Thanks so much, Diane!! I had a blast making this, it's a little bit of Drunkpo as well.
