Disappointing 30 hour drive to Miami for New Bravo Show

On Sunday, I drove to Miami from New Orleans for a casting call in hopes of getting on a new Bravo show. Driving to Miami took about 13 hours but it felt like 5 hours because I was on a high and all I could think of was winning the hearts of the judges. The show will be titled "Untitled Art Project". I guess its something similar to what would be a "Top Artist" type of show. I would be competing with a few other artist in a reality show/drama. I arrived as number 25 of about 100 other artist with the line stretching the whole block. My artwork, compared to the other artist was about the boldest and most colorful work in the line (objectively speaking). When i made it to the judges they said that my work was ..."too developed". Implying that they were looking for artist with less skill so that they could "develop" them. I wish that they could have specified that in the application. It would have saved me about 30 hours driving there and back. The hardest thing was that I've work so hard perfecting my craft and to have it be a disadvantage was confusing and disappointing. Its funny though- the irony.

Terrance... Man, it's gotta suck being judged as "too good" for a dopey TV show.
The only thing to do is to keep working at your art and keep plugging at the galleries
and legitimate vendors. I'm guessing that a TV slot would have been only a "Flash in the Pan"
situation... not something that would have had legs once the program was over.
I wish you the best of luck.
