Envious of the coinbook pages Alicia has sent others, I received a coinbook and couldn't be happier:

This coinbook is painted thickly and beautifully with mostly copper-penny-color paint, has a few more "pages" to it (Alicia pasted the text "No one ever thought that art was going from one point to another, with a final destination" on one), plus an "extra buttons" packet full of unused vintage literary stamps, and I LOVE it. Another item in the envelope is a great photo of Duchamp superimposed over a magazine page (two, actually, one on each side), to really wonderful effect. Here is one:

The envelope Alicia made is a wonderful trashpo piece that also bears stamping, vintage stamps, and messages, and both sides are posted below. Alicia, thank you so much for this mail art, which is very special to me.

Envelope and coinbook have such rich textures and colors! No wonder it was much coveted :-)

I'm so thrilled with it, Diane--it will have a permanent place out in the open where I can enjoy it daily--glad you appreciate it too!

Wow-this is so rich and multi-layered and seems a much different style than I'm used to seeing from Alicia. The coinbook is gorgeous!

Image uploader didn't work right. Here is the front of Alicia's envelope:
