Could be called trashpo, meow...

with car stickers like license plates!

In Greece, we used to have stickers for the car tax yearly from 2000 to 2012,

and they had to be on the windshield for traffic police to see.

However, after 12 years of stickers circling the driver's view,

...the BLUE stickers were discontinued,

most of us scraped them all off, and today we get the

auto-tax bill on-line, we pay on-line, and police can check on-line :-)

(it wasn't easy finding cars in the neighborhood with these stickers still on)

Thank you, Mike, for sending me on the hunt...

and 'tis a nice envelope you sent with washi!

Well, the old Greek stickers were self-sticky on the INSIDE of the windshield

so they could not be torn or scraped off.

However there were places , like on Crete, or some southern islands, where the stickers were "fried "

under the Greek sun in the summer, so we always had to keep the car tax receipt with our car papers.
