Blogjam: Hot Seat from Claudia McGill, Minxus Mail from Claire Dinsmore, and Trashpo etc from Vizma!!!!

I'm in love with the color palette Claudia uses. It's hard to read from the scan but it says" when they said I'd be in the hot seat in my new job, I certainly didn't envision this."  she also writes on the back, "Thanks to you I will NEVER forget to use the zip code again.."  Jon Foster had touched on the inevitable paranoia that can creep in when we exchange mail art and communication stops. This happened to me with Claudia as I hadn't heard from her in awhile. I thought maybe sending her roadkill had offended her. But no. The mail art I sent her came back to me quite a long while later undeliverable. I double checked the address and apparently I had forgotten to put the zip code. Back in the day, that would not be grounds for sending something back as they would just look it up. I guess the robots don't do that now.

Guess who's coming FOR dinner? Minx , rat, otter,and polecats. I had no idea polecats were real. I had always heard them refer to feral cats as that. Such an interesting piece as Claire has combined minxus with trashpo, and also provided possible future candidates for the Tinkler Traveling Dead Cat (etc.) performance Art Extravaganza. Is the medieval knight asking where am I? or is it the brown rat?

From start to finish this mail art from Vizma is hilarious. She has included Latvian Lessons for me , which have been taking up quite a bit of my mail art time, but worth it.  Eduardo's fantastic T-shirts are nun approved, which is awesome. Dkult is beginning to be accepted in mainstream religion thanks to our aggressive marketing campaign in Portugal. Vizma-you look stunning in your aviator outfit. Those women in the back are just jealous. Vizma has also included some great trashpo for the show. I will have to post that in the comments. It's amazing that Angelina Jolie actually looks human instead of like a wax figure. I LOVE all the art I received thank you!!

Nice! Thanks for the blog DK! The rats think they're chowing, but rumor has it that Minxes like to eat rats so they may be in for a surprise...

(I'm not sure DVS will ever forgive me for sending a few of these cards out to others... The original was inspired by & created for him. One dif. though - the others I posted are all pretty much alike, and his card is one-of-a-kind-unique: The inception!)

Planet Claire sending YOU mink & rodent pictures. It made me realize MinXus is just another kind of roaDKill. Anyone have any mink roadkill pics?

It's official. Vizma is the new mail-art "It" girl. It makes me think about others who went down that road, like KDJ. Belle of the ball today; dumpster tomorrow. I'll email Stubbs at the Mexican clinic & make a reservation for Vizma. They say it's nice down there.
