Are you ready to enter a world where time doesn't follow rules? Please take a seat. This is RCBz' (not deceased!) latest envelope to me, a piece that is almost A4 in size. I think it is safe to say that it is a masterpiece of digital art. In what is supposed to be a classic tatami room, the artist is peacefully working on decorating sliding panels. Colorful cups with paint or pigments are placed beside her. She is not from this day and age, yet she knows everything about energy drinks, beach volleyball players and tattoos. Her paint brush is giving the last touch to a city saturated with neon lights, brush strokes turning into pixels.
I love the subtle blend of black and white (the artist's face), colorized (the pigments) and color (the photos). The light is beautiful too, it gives a certain sense of serenity and timelessness (perfect for anachronism, come to think of it). This is without a doubt my very favorite piece by RCBz, truly mesmerizing. Thank you for sending this, RCBz, I absolutely love it!

Oh, OK, I saw it now. Marie Antonette. Queen, in this case. I'd say.
The link to Marie's Mailbox. It says "Empress Marie Antonette."
Is he? I haven't seen that post anywhere? Well, we'll have to ask Dw I think.
Marie, Grigster is calling you an Empress on his blog. Is it Empress or Queen?
Thank you girls, glad you like it too. This is one piece I would have liked to put on a wall. If only I had space...
I nearly missed this! RCBz in certainly strutting his stuff in the ether. You're GOOD HS :-))! There are so many unquantifyable - is there such a word? symbols in his work for me :-) - a personal symbol system well acquainted with its originator only I imagine :-) X
Glad you agree it's a great piece!
Excellent RCBz piece, Marie, made even more notable because it's so big. RCBz - Grandfather of MinXus - is definitely alive and well.
