Artistamps...the Art of Postage ( and like) Stamps...in my mailbox today!

Some beautiful and interesting "stamps" arrived in Greece today. I love stamps..postage and artistamps!

TicTac has made an amazing series of artistamps with the Mona Lisa and with Amy Winehouse images.

I received these "special editions" and I shall treasure them (or...use them on mail art :-)

Also, TicTac had them on the envelope along with regular postage stamps.

And from Ahmet Demir:

Ahmet Demir in Turkey sent four envelopes of his "puzzle mail art" series and

each envelope has an Ahmet-designed-artistamp. Also there was another  stamp on his delivery envelope:

Note: Ahmet has a "Forever" detail as is now on USA postage stamps! Clever!!!

"Forever" stamps Made-in-the-USA:

An amazing machine stamp-postage from Japan...dated one year and one day after

11.3.11....12.3.12 :

I'm also gathering several "Dragon" stamps recently, for the Year-of-the-Dragon, 2012.

Many thanks to all for sending the great mail art...with the great stamps! xxx

Japanese postage stamps are an art form ! Even their machine postage seal has beautiful  images!

And we see that Ahmet has left the area of flowers and birds and gone very "seductive" as Carina says! :-)
