A few years ago I got hold of this big square book that was badly damaged. I decided to fix up the broken spine and the pages that had seperated from the spine Then I started to art up the board cover.I painted the boards black and then used some sheets of handmade papers that were earthy greens and red/browns, and a large formica sample.

That was as far as I had got originally, and then the book and all my craft things eventually got put away and left for several years.

Last night I got the urge and I couldnt ignore it.

Soooo, I set about getting a spread (double pages) prepared with the base background.

Thanks. its good to have a few personal art projects on the go, it helps slow down my mailings out so I dont spend all my stamps so fast.

Im still undecided whether the front cover is complete or if Im going to add a focal point to it.
