Oh now I get it - that would have been really neat! Yes, seemed a reasonable deal to me, but my that stage the project had taken over my mind so all rational thought was out the window.

There's me being too clever, I thought you were working on the solar year of 365.25 days (the extra quarter adds up to a Feb 29 every 4 years). I hope you got a good deal on the stamps!

This is starting to addle my brain - quarter bird? leap-postcard? 53/365.2 is day 53 of a bird a day and it's 365.2 becasue I'd already done a 365er before, so this one is series 2, otherwise known as 'the sequel'.

And as for the stamps, positively postal put me on to a dealer with a stache! That's what friends are for.

I've just twigged why mine is 53/365.2  —— did you send a quarter bird on a leap-postcard?

And where did you get so many 'international postcard' stamps, I thought they were discontinued?

About 12 per day for a month or so? That's lots and lots....

and buying 365 postage stamps? I am embarrassed when I ask the postal clerk for 50,

she looks at me strangely!

It took so long to post them all into the letterbox, Katerina - it was crazy!

Birds take flight and are arriving! Wow! It is an expensive project, UK Post (Royal Post)

should give you a special discount for mailings over 100? Well the birdies will be very

much appreciated when they arrive...me can't wait, Greek Birdie is waiting too :-)
