I'm embarking on Mailart 365 this January 1st/14.  My greatest challenge isn't making mail art, or sending it out, but documenting and blogging anything about what is sent (or received).  I've thought a lot about this, and my only conclusion is to just fucking do it already.  I feel bad that I haven't posted about some of the amazing pieces I've received, and do intend to get to them at some point.  For now staying on topic and posting my art online regularly is the challenge.  I'm sure at times it will get messy (hello iphone snapshots) but it will be done!

As a secondary point, I'm curious to see how my work evolves this year.  As a student I spurned mixed media and found objects, preferring the "purist" route of painting or photography.  These days mixed media is my mainstay!  It took a bit of time to get back into the swing of mail art last year, but now that I'm back into it, it seems impossible to live without it!  Funny how that is!
