This photo doesn't even begin to do this piece justice. It is three-dimensional so did not scan well, but this is amazing. She has weaved playing cards and joined them with wire and the whole thing appears to be coated in beeswax. I've never seen wire used as thread and I just love this ! thank you Nikoya-I look forwardd to exchanging more with you!

It was a piece that I struggled with for a few days, it went through several transformations as I tried to weave the pieces together. I was worried that the end result wouldn't be well received so I am pleasantly surprised by all the warm responses. Thank You.
It's about 3" by 2"-I can't imagine how long it took to weave and stitch this and the shiny things are beads!
VERY VERY nice work - lucky you DK :-) X
"Specky," Helen--that is food for thought ...
That looks absolutely smashing, wow!
I am trying to do a piece for a full deck of playing cards. It is a big challenge but if you want one Angie I'll make you one, do you have a favorite card? Not saying I will use it but it maybe inspiring.
Just beautiful!!
Wow, how wonderful. How large is it, DK, I can't really imagine? Thanks for sharing!!
I wish everyone could see it in detail--one of the more elegant pieces I've received!
Thank You so much! I am very glad you liked it and it does not scan well at all; but at least you know how it looks.
