Janine Weiss: Diamond Bike & a magical Garden Boekie

Amazing.  This little 18 page boekie is packed with fun images to keep you smiling for hours.  And it must have taken many smiling hours to make.

And yes, those are real diamonds on the bike wheels.

Thank you Janine, a great…

Janine Weiss: Coucou dit le hibou (Hello says the Owl)

The wise Owl sends a jam packed card of images and messages.  The elephant and the mouse is an age old Swiss  wise tale about how a little thing can help a big thing.  Then again, it might be the story about how the mouse took the Swiss cheese from the elephant.  I'll let you decide.

All these messages, which one do you see first?  Somehow my eye keeps going to…

Janine Weiss: La joie céleste

Inspired by the heavy snow in Switzerland and the fact that Christmas is just around the corner ... oh dear, I just remembered, what am I going to buy my wife for Christmas?  She didn't really like the window cleaner I bought her last year.  Sorry, I got side tracked.  Yes, Janine is calm and inspired by it all and full of joy in making Mail Art.  I think this is wonderful.…

Janine Weiss: Happy Birthday Card

Janine Weiss send me a very nice birthday card, but my birthday is not until January. But I always say; better early then never. I now sadly see that Janine Weiss has left IUOMA so we may never know why she sent it early.

It will have to go down in history as one of those unsolved mysteries.  Like Stonehenge, or why spaghetti breaks in 3 pieces when you bend it.…

Janine Weiss: Hopper is coming to town

Ah Janine is up on the life in Paris, and yes we are all excited about the Hopper show in the Grand Palais which I have already booked my ticket ... for the last day!

And Janine has included all the Hooper Hopper classic details.  Very enjoyable.

They say that this is the first time that "Nighthawks" has been shown in France.  Except for now on…

Banane et Pomme d'amour from Janine Weiss

A real wonder if I ever saw one. A little apple & banana stand made from a cheese box.  Covered with the smallest beads and bits including mini books which you can read.

-  It came in a package with another surprise.  I spend most of last night just looking at it.…

Lights camera action from Janine Weiss

A very fun mobile from Janine Weiss which came is a clear bag.  I got my mail at the same time as someone else in the building, and they looked at it with amazement.  "Something I order on e-bay", I said.  "Oh right", they said.

At first I tied to put it in the scanner, but that didn't come out very well.…

Two sweet pieces from Janine :))))))

First this romantic man, looks adorable and feels great too!!!

Then these wonderful paperdolls.  They are hard to appreciate from this scan but they are wonderfully creative.  Not only do they stand on their own but each has an outfit sewn on them and if you look from the other side these little cuties look as if they are peeping over a white fence.  Thank-you very much Janine. What a treat, these little guys greeted me after being out of town :))))))…

Janine Weiss awaits her Prince

Maybe she's hoping to steal him from Snow White? Walt Disney had an answer for almost anything ... we used to hope ...

Very artistically done, Janine, and we'll show below the other side, which hints that Janine and I had a fun little talk one day about Prince Charming: …
