Richard Canard's Poetry Strikes Again

The poem on top is one Richard sent in July -- the loss of one's muse is frequently a casualty of summer in Illinois. The one on the bottom I found when I cleaned up my "office" -- and I just love the big black marker!

Jimmy Connors PC

I think Jimmy Connors is testing the International Postal Service -- As he himself notes, they're loosely glued, bit and pieces are "outside the lines" of the postcard shape, the stamps are in the "wrong" place, yet, I think this piece is relatively intact! Amazing. Thanks Jimmy!…

Fleur's Yellow Bird

I just love what Fleur is doing with her background papers and bright images on top--there's an almost eerie disconnect between the sometimes decadent appearing background and the lovely natural image on top. Beautiful.

Angie Cope's Mail Art

Wow, I LOVE what Angie did with the jam I sent her (top). The green she added to my blue is perfect, and I love the sort of mappy abstraction. In return she sends me a blue/green buddy jam to play with! And a ton of ephemera, really good stuff. Thanks,…

I haven't heard from Kim in a long time, so it's delightful to see her again in the mail. Really lovely cards plus this ornament of circles--beautifully precise. Thanks, Kim!

This old-fashioned leftist really enjoys a good erasure poem!

Wow, this is an amazing collage. Talk about symbolism! What have we got, an alchemist on top with a little gnome who's bitten off more than he can chew in the shadow puppet department,…

Sa Mu's Mail Art

Wow! This card (balsa wood?) came in this beautiful vellum envelope, completely undamaged. Love the rooster and the key, seems very symbolic (of what, I don't know....wake up and discover the key?) Thanks Sa Mu! I love your work!

A & P with Cz Lovecraft and David Schulze

This is such a nice picture I'm going to have to think long and hard about adding to it....by the way, can anyone fill me in on who the person in the picture is? My first guess was Thoreau....
