A two chicken adventure

Stripygoose was one of the London Pub Collective 2014 who sent me mail art. I sent her an LPC packet, and she sent me this great homemade envelope. The bird's eye is a little freaky!
Inside, one of her trademark birds.…

Cupcake with a hidden message

Linda F sent me this silk and plastic cupcake through the mail. It has a large label attached which partly covers some of the cool vintage stamps. These are from the 1984 set issued for the 23rd Summer Games held in Los Angeles, and feature the following sports: wrestling, kayak, diving and long jump.

Tucker from Jon

Jon Foster sent me this bedazzled Tucker postcard. This effect is great, reminds of a 1960s/70s mashup. This is the kind of thing I am not good at. If I tried it, it would end up looking like a dog's breakfast instead of like this.

I always appreciate people who decorate the other side of their mail art, even though I almost never do…

The LPC

Mail Art Martha, MomKat (both of whom I already exchange mail art with), stripygoose, and Scott aka Positively Postal met up in a London Pub to create mail art earlier this year, and I was one of the lucky recipients (card arrived May 6).

Lots of stamps, birds, blue and yellow.…

Amazing envelope and add & pass from Keith Chambers

Keith created the most incredible underwater encounter on this repurposed envelope. These images are precisely cut out and securely adhered - I would never have the patience or the skill.

Mail Art Martha's DKULTUK Spring Collection Catalog

Received the same time as the Collective's collaboration, Mail Art Martha sent me this superb trashpo book, created partly by a secret weathering process that can only be undertaken in the Swamps of Retailia.

A taste of spring... and a book of Erniness

This arrived last friday, a very cold day at the end of March when we had freezing temperatures and snow flurries. Thankfully, Katerina's mail brightened my day with a message of spring.
