Monsenhor Envide Nefelibata sent me this paintbrush, #0000630, that has been used for "one stroke too many." And the special Nefelibata bar code. This all came in a clear plastic ziplock bag, which gave the postal people no difficulties at all. There's also a little sticker that says "This is not mailart. This is artbymail." Subtle but important difference? Thanks…

Thom sent this right after the killings in Orlando, with a very beautiful poem inside. The envelope is multi-faceted, though, and I opened it up to see the inside.... Quite amazing.
Here's the flip side of the envelope. There are two artistamps, that look…

I had to laugh out loud at this piece by Melissa--I can see her thinking writing this way was fun at first and then becoming aggravated at how slow it was and making the whole thing a kind of lovely joke. Marvelous!
I love that little birdie! Thanks…

A mysterious pinkish 3D, found poetry collage from Maria Teresa. Enigmatic and lovely. Isn't the piece of mesh up in the top right corner amazing?

People are always saying, "the photo doesn't do this justice," and this really is true of this piece. There are so many layers to this, and so many textures. Music, letters, pictures, circles, text, every time I look I see more. Just wonderful. And her envelope and the other little card that came with this are marvelous, too. Thanks, Briana!…

A poem from Richard -- and yep, it would cost something like $5 just to get rid (mail) a dozen poems! I'm still glad to have 'em!
And then, there's this:…

I'm always thrilled to receive an envelope from Richard Baudet. This one is particularly beautiful and contained a little sticker for a "box for little things" and two other lovelies. Wow, Richard, thanks! The postage stamps on the envelope are really nice,…

Fleur makes these beautiful pieces from photos of decorated utility boxes in Oakland, where she lives. She adds stamps, stickers, and her own touches. Her envelopes match the contents perfectly. Such wonderful attention to detail! Thanks Fleur!

I've been admiring these ravens ever since I first saw them. Aaron's new white ink stamp pad really makes this jump off the paper! I feel a bit sorry for this fellow but he looks smart enough to figure a way out of that jar. Thanks so much, Aaron. I love…

Yesterday, when I got home from 10 days away from my mailbox, I found a BUNCH of wonderful mail art, including this fat envelope from Carina. Inside were many wonders, including the piece at the top of the photo, a digital fold out of what looks like a big fat…
