It all started when I figured out how great it is to find letters and postcards in the mailbox instead of only bills.
Having worked with collages and paint before, I just found out that postcards and envelopes are an ideal material. Also, I like to see the traces of the mailing process on the mail art, which makes each piece unique and tells a story of its own. I'm also experimenting with photos I'm having printed into postcards at the moments.
These are my very first steps, and I'm looking forward to meet other mail artists here and see what they are doing.
