My Website (without http://):
Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
I like to create a little something special for each of my pen-pals and think it's nice to create pretty mail.

I have just started and don't have a particular style as such yet! I like to use Sharpie pens, fancy paper, washi tape and stickers to create my mail art.

Things I LOVE:
Polka dots, stripes
Vintage - old adverts etc
Horror movies
Shabby chic decor
Detective programmes - Columbo, Touch of Frost, Whitechapel, Luther
Christmas tree decorations - (I aim to collect a tree decoration from different countries - glass, metal, fabric, wood)

Things I'm not fond of -
Anything too girly - overly pink, glittery etc
My Mail-Adress (snail and/or E-mail)
Request my snail-mail address by sending me a message -

HI Emma--very colorful and creative envelopes--welcome to IUOMA!

At 8:44pm on April 26, 2014, Patricio - The Celestial Scribe said…

Earthling, this is the last but certainly not the least welcome message to IUOMA you receive. I’m a celestial mail artist living in a heavenly corner of the faraway universe called Republik van Patland. When you joined IUOMA on 25/03 I was unable to welcome you on board.  At the time I was in a Celestial Journey far beyond the Milky Way. Now, back to planet Earth, I´d love to be the other end if you wish to trade mail art with a celestial mail artist. If this is the case at the time your envelope should read as follows:

The Celestial Scribe

Terrene Embassy

Republik van Patland

Caixa Postal 24827

I look forward to see a piece of yours in our terrene mailbox. I´ll do my homework after receiving your artwork. This is nothing less than a Celestial Promise. I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Republik van Patland Official Envelope Provider.

Want to support the IUOMA with a financial gift via PayPal?

The money will be used to keep the IUOMA-platform alive. Current donations keep platform online till 1-march-2025. If you want to donate to get IUOMA-publications into archives and museums please mention this with your donation. It will then be used to send some hardcopy books into museums and archives. You can order books yourself too at the IUOMA-Bookshop. That will sponsor the IUOMA as well.

IMPORTANT: please use the friends/family option with donation on Paypal. Elon Musk doesn't need any more of our money. If you want buyer protection, add 2 euros

This IUOMA platform on NING has no advertisings, so the funding is completely depending on donations.
