Why I am involved in Mail-Art:: A latecomer entranced by the timelessly innovative prospect of an autarchic bazaar of ideas, emancipated from commercial interests & the micropolitics of any organized art-movement. Mail-art retains its "aura" (Benjamin), whereas the internet reproduces a simulation endlessly and so strips itself of it. I'm interested in the genuine article.
