Fabulous cat from Sabrina S in Germany - Thank you!!!

Looks like pastels, drawing a perfect cat - along with a cool envelope and a bunch of stamps!

Fabulous cat Sabrina!  In response to your question about the envelope I sent....it was an indigo dye used along with a Japanese tie dye technique called Shibori.  My cousin in England is an incredible fiber artist and also a scientist - she bought the dye and mixed it while I was visiting a couple of years ago.  We did a few days of dyeing in her backyard in the summer.  She dyed fabric (silks, cotton & linen) & I brought a variety of Japanese papers from home in a tube.  I will share some in my next letter to you!  I made a lot and have used just a tiny fraction.  Regarding Trump, yes - there is definitely something seriously wrong inside his head - but now, it seems the walls are beginning to show some major cracks.  Many of us are praying for impeachment, but that will bring it’s own destruction.  Things feel very unstable, but this too shall pass.  Cheers to you and our becoming friends thru mail art!

Thank you. :) You're right, the cat is drawn with oil pastels! I like how well they blend. :)
