ha ha ha!  (I know it's a josh, but I find it very odd in this case... Yea, i'm being literal and seeing heavy, dense, lush Victorian... That aesth. pervades lots o' my work though, and my int. design. I always liken it to Sherlock Holmes' room, or an opium den: my dream! Friend used to call it "that den of iniquity" - I've a penchant for crimson velvet and adorned it w/ my heavy-metal/s&m reminiscent body wear... %_^) Maybe in the focus on detail...? The ever-salient point...%_^

hmm/interesting...new to IUOMA maybe, but mail art friends and I were were sending such stuff back and forth 30 yrs ago. (sheez, always the damned contrarian!)

Claire, you'd swat me if you could, but I cannot resist writing: This is what minimalism would like if Charles Dickens did minimalism. I'm building a case that you and Christopher Skinner represent a new kind of aesthetics (in ma).

thanks Angie. (it's very much like one of my book cover and/or metal designs. I decided to try that sensibility w/ collage)

(must say, I haven't quite figured your aesthetic out yet %_^ - your taste seems as eclectic as mine - lol!)
