I have photographed several of these groups of locks in various places in Venice, so much so that now I look out for them when I am wandering about the beautiful city. I will be doing that again when I go back to Venice in October, I have no idea of the significance because, surely, there must be one, they have obviously been there for some time. Do you know what they mean?
