First postcard from postcrossing

I'm trying to work out the meaning of this postcard. The the postmark of bugle matches the bugle in picture. Could the rider be a postal messenger.
postcrossing is site which you receive a random address to send postcards to. Hard to tell if a person has send to you. Due to randomness.
