This piece began as a hand-cut paper composition and was later refined through graphic design, blending tactile craft with crisp digital clarity. A boldly stylized rooster stands proudly in the foreground, its layered shapes suggesting individually cut feathers in warm coral red, soft blush, cream, charcoal, teal, golden yellow, and pale blue-gray. Behind it, a striking black-and-white geometric barn quilt pattern creates a strong architectural backdrop of triangles and diamonds, adding rhythm and contrast. The textured neutral background evokes parchment or handmade paper, reinforcing the work’s handcrafted origins while the clean edges and balanced composition reflect its digital finish.
