Thanks Jennifer! No, I don't really prefer sumi over an inkpad. I'm too scared to use sumi on any of my proper rubber stamps. However, the sumi can give a really nice dark black and in some ways have a bit more of a printmaking quality. The next stamped artistamps will probably just use regular stamp pad ink. I wish I had a perforator! I bought a pack of pre-perforated paper from 100 proof press.

They're great!! Did you prefer sumi to an inkpad? What are you using to perforate?
