Each photo has descriptions titles , depicts the name of the IOUMA recipient of my mail art. So far all of my work has been made-designed to order with it's receiptiant in mind. I can see how this approach in the future may be difficult to maintain. I let my work be a reflection of my personality and artistic style, to date my work is alway's snail-mail and never e-mail, it's just a personal choice as I know there are others who use the e-mail sharing method (someday, I may succomb to it if needs be) As a beginner to mailart It's been a learning experience since joining IOUMA September 2010. I've had returned mail and I've had to restore work damaged by the machines in our postal system and then create a new envelope for the re-mail ! I am probably singing to the choir as I am sure many of us have had similiar experiences. The other challenge for me has been use of adhesives and glues....it would have helped had I read some of the fabulous tutorials provided at IOUMA by senior MailArt Artists first...BUT, so true to self I did not and have learned those lesson the hardway.
