Val, I think your dolmen series is spectacular! Yes, I know what they are, had to do research on them once. Wonderful use of "renewable archaic." Regards, DVS

Bonjour! No they'e not Greek letters. Some of the dolmen(s? I wonder what the plural of dolmen is as the men part is already plural, suggesting that dolman might have been the singular) are loosely based on Hebrew letters, and that is why they have funny names. Val

Great series, Val! Love the "dolmen" which when I first saw them,

I thought you were carving your first Greek letters...it is Pi = Π

But not...you are drawing the burial "dolmen" of stone..(had to google it:

The term dolmen originates from the expression taol maen, which means "stone table" in Breton,

and was first used archaeologically inThéophile Corret de la Tour d'Auvergne's Origines gauloises.)
