All dressed up and no place to go !
Souvenirs of St. Gilles, France
During our journeys I find things on the street. I call
them Mail Art Omens, and they have to be used in my
next card. Sometimes called Saint-Gilles-du-Gard was founded during the 7th century by the hermit Saint Giles. A cute little town, nice market where I found this head band & ribbon. And a beautiful West portal of the abbey church, and ruins in the back. The church was closed so we had no other place to go… except for the birthplace of Guy Foulques, Pope Clement IV (died 1268), … which we gave it a miss.
A special thanks goes out to Philippe Parreno who sent me an invite to his show in Paris. I sadly was unable to attend, but the invite made a great support for this card.
