Just spreading around some Greek Sunshine to warm up the New Year.
Actually, the winds from the Sahara stopped yesterday
and we are now understanding the cold from Poland and Germany,
but NO snow at least :-)
Have a fun 2010, warm and cozy!

judy, your name and face are very familiar, but i'm having trouble placing you... before moving to arizona i lived in just outside d.c. in montgomery county for some 23 years. does my name or photo ring a bell?
  • Test Tower

Hi Judy, was trying to send you a long overdue postcard, but don't see your address. Can you help? Cheers, Test
  • Test Tower

Alert! Mail Art from the 4th Dimension is on the way! Hope you like it Judy - sorry it took so confoundedly long. Test
  • sharon kennick

thank you for getting back with me so quickly, judy. i have been quite ill for a couple of weeks, and it has somewhat slowed my response to correspondence; apologies. hmmm...i spent alot of time in rockville/olney/derwood, and had (self-employed) offices in gaithersburg, germantown and rockville at various times. does the name "wellsprings associates" (my business name) ring a bell? i lived in germantown for twenty years before moving to arizona, seven years ago. your face and name are so familiar that i'm sure our paths have crossed several times, i just can't place where or when. it will probably come to me in a dream one night...
  • Keith A. Buchholz

Judy - Sorry it took me so long to reply... Stendhal Gallery is in Chelsea on W. 21st - were performing on Friday too at Printed Matter, with a Correspondence dinner afterwards ... events all the way thru sunday ... you should come down if you can ....
  • Lorraine Kwan

    Hi Judy
I guess you got your card in the mail. Thanks for contributing, I miss having my table cover at home, the room is drab without it.
I am in Redmond today and the weather is spectacular, hope it is nice there too.
    Ta, Lorraine
  • Lorraine Kwan

Excellent Mail Art exhibit, very nicely done.
  • Julian Grant

Thank you for the info. Much appreciated. Congratulations on your inclusion in this event.
  • Mail Art Martha

oh that is better! the US Mail is more enligtened than the Royal Mail, it seems.
  • Mail Art Martha

that is very appropriate, at least for me: when creating some art i often feel back in nursery school surrounded by paint and glue and enjoying it! One of my slogans is 'Doing Mail Art keeps me young at heart'
  • Denis Charmot

    Thanks a lot.

  • De Villo Sloan

Thank you - I lived in College Park, Maryland for a time - Geenbelt, actually. Happy Thanksgiving!
  • De Villo Sloan

Beautiful pic, Judy - I was at the University of Maryland College Park for 2 years as a graduate student (no degree from there, though). I started out in a nearby suburb called Hollywood (Maryland) I believe. But that would confuse people. Then to Greenbelt which was interesting because of that old socialist community there. Very happy we're friends. DVS

ARRRGGGHHH !!!!!!  Judy,  was thumbing through old messages on here, and Just Saw This .....  If you haven't already dispersed things ... YES ! I'd love to have some of the Mail Art...  I archive everything in alphabetized, acid free binders, and use it for shows, and to educate others about mail art ..... will take ANYTHING you would like me to archive .... I keep it all accessible .....  Work with a few museums to give it exposure, etc.     Jokie X. Wilson was up here last month & went through some of it, then he went back to S.F. and sent me some of Malok's old work .... am preparing to archive  Jim Leftwich's collection too ... it should start arriving within the next month .....  Can't believe I didn't see this message .....

Give me a call  314-276-4802.  Thanks,  -  Keith

  • Keith A. Buchholz

Very Cool ... I'm not familiar with his work ... I'm so sorry I didn't see your comment before you disposed of the other stuff .... I'm always happy to archive anything .... Whatever anyone wants to send will have a good permanent home..

Thanks again judy,  always interested  in the work of mailartists who could get lost in the shuffle of history .... been doing some identification work for the Art Institute in Chicago .. some really great 80's pieces & they didn't have the artists names ... Quite an education for me too !

Looking forward to your mailings,  -  Keith

  • Mao Huan (lazybunny)
