Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
Mail-art is a decentralized network of fun. It's cheap (ish), and egalitarian. The world is our network, and the wall is our museum. I just enjoy connecting with folks, and sending, and receiving mail.

Community. Fun. Also, the child-like amazement that if I put something in the big blue box, it magically appears at various destinations. It still never fails to put a smile on my face.

    Jim! Thank you for sharing. I love hearing about your snack stand memory. There is an ICEE stamp in the set too. Kmart was my first job. I have all kinds of strange treasures I collected while working there. I used the stamps for this small quilt project. I'm excited to use them for mail art!

    Thanks so much for the kind words, yes I did carve them all :) I have a teen tiny tool, I think the brand is called Flexcut. Speedball makes tiny gouges too.
