yes that's a 'real' airmail envelope...a few left over from my mom's stash. I'm always on the lookout for birds & have 100's of pix

    happy mailing(~_^)

Hello Neil, drawing patterns I like best. About a year ago I found out they are called Zentangles ;)

  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

    Hi Neil,

no "boekie" arrived, but I did get your mail art and

"Fan Club" card! 'Love it! Blogged it:

Fan Club card from Neil Gordon

and do wait until July 10 for the surprise:

  • Nancy Bell Scott

Yes, and it's much loved, and was blogged here: http://iuoma-network.ning.com/profiles/blogs/trashbook-from-neil-go...

You can't keep track of every single thing blogged at IUOMA?! Neither can I, but sure wish I could! Many thanks, Neil, the trashboekie is really wonderful. You'll hear from me soon. ...

  • Not Hi Ng

    Hey Neil,

I'm glad you received the Mind Mender, when I found the 45 I knew it had to be for you.

  • JOB [5Blanks]

you´re welcome, neil. you see, i gave my last sock for you...;-)

  • Nancy Bell Scott

Neil, was that the m.a. you meant? I hope nothing is lost ... never mind all.

  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Happy to see that it arrived ok, Neil!

    Tea time (and choco and...)

  • Susan McAllister

Hi Neil. I love the Rainbow card. Thanks. I hope you are well and happy.
  • Mim Golub Scalin

Thanks for the Mail Art - Oh yes, it did a bit of repairing of the world as it made it's way to my door, I've no doubt of that. Interesting about the dark hair and olive complexion. My husband's mom told him he had olive skin when he was a kid and he was quite worried about that. Poor kid.  See you in the Mail!

  • De Villo Sloan

Glad it arrived, Neil. Mick's involvement in the 2009 roaDkill Tour is definitely a story to be told and a mystery to ponder. Have you ever seen the late night hotel room footage of Mick in Dylan's "Renaldo & Clara"? That's my point of entry to Mick as a quasi-fictional character. Will Wilhelm Reich yet be vindicated? Only time will tell. Great to hear from you, DVS.

  • David Schulze

Neil - I'm glad that you received my postcard.  I paint them using acrylics and then finish with a gloss varnish.  Looking forward to seeing you here and in the mail!  David.

  • Ronna Saunders (Ronni)

Hi Neil--so glad you liked  the card and I'd love one from you too.  No, I'm not a Jungian.   My training was "Jr. Freud" but I've moved on to primarily CBT and am still working but cutting back....I have a daughter who lives in Hebron, CT.  What else are you up to besides mailart?Hope to hear from you soon.

  • DKeys

Neil---I miss you sooo much too!!! Tell your life to stop getting in the way!!  This made me think of you-sign from today

and thanks for all the great trashpo you have sent me-something on its' way to you soon

The crusin' Ludd Mobile has made it's way to the west coast. A little worse for wear, but after a little body work, it looks like it's still road worthy. Thank you! I could see myself in that ol' cruiser bumping along the road, shining the spot along the roadside looking for good trash n' stuff. Rockin' n' rolling, cuttin' and a pasting . . . k.

  • Susan McAllister

Thanks Neil. It's always good to hear from you.
  • DKeys

it is definately hard to balance and unfortunately when things get hectic, art has to take a backseat. I am plodding away these days-getting a few pieces out here and there. I did something I thought I'd never do. I had a piece made into postcards. Not on a grand scale but it is a series I have made in the 'motivational trashpo' category. glad the laptop is fixed. I always suspected Luddite Elves were behind many system failures. They made our laptop crash recently too. then you have to start over putting all your crap on it.  all the best

  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Happy to see that the  "tea" has arrived, Neil.

And now your laptop is back in order...amen!

It seems that Unilever and Lipton will take-over all the little tea dealers here in Greece,

let's see if we still get the colorful boxes of tea or fortune-telling tea bag tags?

  • Amy Irwen

    Neil, so glad you liked....

  • DKeys

Hi Neil--glad you liked everything. There is one more motivational trashpo piece in this series, for now anyway. The ACCePTED sticker is one of my favorite trash finds and to this day I can't figure out what that would be for.  There is a bit of a glitch with the order for my next in the series. Hopefully the universe will provide me with more 'up with people' bits. good to hear from my favorite dew drop!!

  • DKeys

I don't know if these are being installed everywhere but these are cropping up at elgin churches!

  • Nancy Bell Scott

"Luddite elves," you are too funny Neil. Those creatures lurk in every room of my house, and they probably are full-fledged squatters in yours. Mail art to you soon, buddie.

  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Not to worry, Neil! Your mail art has arrived! I am not in the city to pick it up daily...but someone comes by the seaside shack and delivers once every ten days or so. But I haven't had a chance to blog all yet...will do and thank you soooo much ('ove the "tea chimes"!) xxx K

  • DKeys

I'm glad you like the trashpo vizpo. It is funny, because DKult DOES exist on the astral because we have created it.  Maybe we do all connect in our dreams. The Hello My name is stickers were for a graffiti wall project that I did, but I prefer for them to say HELL. I think Blessed Father would approve. Glad you are doing well.  The Do Drop In was out of coffee yesterday.  I don't know this personally, but I've heard rumors.  I'm sure the Dew Drop Inn serves chicory or kava coffee.  They were rerunning that series you told me about "Trashopolis".  Amazing show but it's too bad it doesn't appear they will be making more.  all the bestest

Hey Neil, just to say hi, hope you're good, and you're on my list! The near-future one! XOX

  • Nancy Bell Scott

Oh Neil, a mail art prom probably isn't even legal.

  • xx Jones

just a small thing, I was running out of this colored paper. Happy you like it!! Have a nice day!

  • DKeys

DD-Your ectoplasmic mail art is to die for!!  lol-get it   really my favorite piece you've sent. thank you and hope you are fighting the good fight!!

  • vizma bruns

Hi Neil!!! Got your trasheriffic mail yesterdeee, thanks! What a nice surprise, (nice is a bit of a weak word isn't it?) I was flabbergasted by the 3 trash cards! That's better!!!! AND all reversible!!

Miss you too, where are you? Are you going ok? I'll be sending mail your way soon, so you won't miss me for long, dear boy! ;-)))

  • Keith S. Chambers

Yes, one last Campbell's offering from my month of soup cans . . . Not sure if it was Paul who blew his mind out in a car — but I'm sure Paul had his mind blow in many places, maybe even in a car, or in a box with a fox — and I'm pretty sure John was the Walrus . . . Perhaps it was also John that strolled along the shore with the Carpenter and lured the tiny oysters out from their beds and onto the bread.

  • Mim Golub Scalin

I knew you'd appreciate the card.

  • De Villo Sloan

DharmaDaDa Neil, great to hear from you brother, and you are an Eternal Network brother for sure & forever. Two responses:

    (1) I received your m-a. Deepest thanks. I'm buried this fall in worldly things, but I am putting together my "Conceptual Trashpo" essay, which will be shared here at IUOMA. Of course the essay will contain numerous examples, and I am holding on to your work for inclusion. The next Trashpo newsletter will contain EXCLUSIVE coverage of DK's secret marriage to KDJ - yip, the cat is out of the closet. You're on the list, so you'll receive a copy (when I can finish the damned thing).

    (2) Thx for the birthday wish, BUT Oct. 31 is Dark wall's birthday (for real in real life). His old profile & mine are slightly confused at IUOMA. Of course Dark wall's presences shall never grace the IUOMA pages again. However, Dw thanks you for the birthday wish.

    So keep in touch!

  • Nancy Bell Scott

Neil baby, it arrived and I love that thing. One of the best packagings still out there! Great trashpo you made with it, Thank You. Am behind, but have begun blogging again, and you're up soon with 3 pieces!

  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

shhhhhh, keep that card "secret" for a few more days, Neil...

others will be opening theirs and be surprised!

'Glad it arrived ahead of time, and enjoy "tea time"! xxx

  • Nancy Bell Scott

Have you checked out your handwriting lately? Maybe it's too trashpo for the USPS. Not for me, though. :--]

  • Nancy Bell Scott

Yes Neil--I genuinely see it that way, and to think how much of it I used to just hide away--until mail art. It brings much to fruition . . .

  • Nancy Bell Scott

Oh yes, the old insulation! I'm glad you like that icing. :--} There is precious little of it, and not sure what will become of the rest, but now it doesn't matter because you appreciate it. (The rest WILL show up in work from here one way or another.) Thanks Neil, and I agree with you completely, sciatica be damned. It is only one fragment of life and we must keep it that way! Shalom---

  • Nancy Bell Scott

p.s. Isn't that old Poland stamp the best? Never saw it in my life, before it turned up on an ebay auction. Not sure it's noticeable in general, but I love it and am glad you see it. There is a sheet of maybe 30 of them.

  • DKeys

Neil--I so miss your sunny bright light comments and prescence here. I think of you every time I get one of those window envelopes. Dkult Chaplain Dew Drop--there have been some thefts of the collection plate lately--luckily it was all counterfeit as we don't allow real money inside the complex. Greed, lust, and power are in clear violation of the 'we are scum--stay humble' clause (great additon btw) you are loved!!!

First, everything that went along with the add and pass were offerings of peace — I'm not sure how you greet add/pass pieces.

As far as being behind on mail art to me; oh please don't feel that way, you owe me nothing and are in no debt to me. So chill, take a breath and have a another cup of coffee — make it decaf if you need to — and read a book or something. You can tell me how it ends.

The bookmark — Adam is my son, we have been clearing out old files and he wanted to jettison about 99% of his k-12 work. I rifled through a lot of his stuff and squirreled it away for 'future use.' I'm a total pack rat. The Chinese time card, ya, isn't that cool? Hope you can use it for some fun.

  • vizma bruns

You're welcome, Cousin Neil, or Nils!! Did you know that we've been chosen as the main dancers for the new Latvian Ballet, Chook Lake?? Start practicing your pirouettes and demi plie-s!! And stock up on pain killers, ha ha ha!! Do your tights still fit?

  • Duo Desordre

Thanks Neil ! You will have a little something soon in your box :))

  • Raphael'L

Thanks for the welcome and the friendship Neil! See you in the mail soon...

Hi Neil, I've been pleased to find a lot of Subgenius activity on FB. including a guy who claims to be Bob. As long as there is slack, there will be Bob. Take care

  • vizma bruns

Leopard skin tights! Yeah!! And I'll wear my 1980 Warhol's Elvis and Marilyn tights! Ugly ducklings morphing into Graceful Chooks! This will be HUGE! ;-)))

  • Raphael'L

Thanks fellow of the starry sky... Even if "le sagitaire s'agite parfois en vain", the quest remains the goal isn't it ? ;-)

  • Susan McAllister

Hey Neil, I didn't know you were a Berkeley fan. There aren't very many Hari Krishnas any more. I'm embarrassed to say Telegraph has become pretty commercial these days. A lot of those students have money, you know. But come for a visit and we'll go for lunch. There's still great pizza and good bookstores. PS HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday greetings from Greece, Neil!

You are born on same day with William Blake!

    AND: HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
