"so you gone tell me the title of a film i've seen on indian chanel , from marvel i suppose : a red monkey man with tail , did you know the name ?"
    so you are not ....?

"so you gone tell me the title

made easy i'm so bad teacher how they can

  • Jayanna Killingsworth

Take your time with it Neil, but please by January- One of the aims is to delve into the concept of what the targets represent to you.... I hope to make a difference with these- I still have quite a few of these left so I may be turning this into a successional series. I am beginning to look into possibilities for shows- first probably in Texas then hopefully the whole United States. HAve also been thinking about a kickstarter project in order to raise fundage for the campaign that will  take place in my green short bus!

  • Rachel Freeman

I'd like to say it was my idea but it really was my hairdresser who is hosting the show...I was trying to describe what mail art is and I think the topic came up because she is interested in a colorful mail art show...I don't think I have seen a mail art call for mandalas although there are plenty of other art venues (blogs and such) that I have run into

  • Amy Irwen

You are most welcome, Neil. Yah, from Old Orchard Beach. Amazing that the message survived about 11 years in the ocean, when the bottle was broken! That's what happens for certain spirits.

  • Lynn Radford

Apparently, we both assumed the friendship and the IUOMA engine didn't register our preference via our heightened level of communication! I suppose it's a good thing the computer still can't read minds yet!

  • Lynn Radford

Yes, Neil, I do believe that is a very good thing! HAL is not a welcome addition to my life, that's for sure!

  • Claire (aka Cleo)

Ha ha ha! Thanks for letting me know. Be well my friend!

  • Claire (aka Cleo)

Ah, there's more! Yes, those are two of my 6 bookshelves - I'm an avid (eclectic!) reader. Thanks for the compliment cher %_^

BTW, I grew up in Princeton (the Uni. town) - there was a beautiful, classically columned bldg. called Clio Hall where I often went to see films when I was a teenager. The most vivid memory I have is of seeing A Clockwork Orange there...that was a trip indeed!

  • Cayte Catastrophe

Hi Neil! I'm glad it arrived safely and you like it. I love those little envelopes, so mysterious and small. I bought a whole bunch on etsy.com so I have plenty but thanks for your offer. They really challenge me to work in small designs. Take care!
  • Nancy Bell Scott

Neil, thank you for your terrific trashpo + asemic trashpo items plus poster! True trashpo spirit--I love it all--many thanks.

  • Lynn Radford

So glad to know that Joe's Holy Disk arrived safely. Thrilled that it has found such a loving home with you, Neil! Have a superlative week! :)

  • Amy Irwen

Hi Neil...yes, you were lucky to get a hand-me-down fortune :-)

Glad you liked the mail art...

    Amy *!*

  • Suus in Mokum

So much to see and discover on your MailArt. Thank you very much! Suus

  • Nancy Bell Scott

Tashi delek, Neil-oh. Just saying hi, hoping life is good at this moment! Soon I will send you something, and it will be trashola, count on it. No need to rush back, take it easy.

  • Nancy Bell Scott

I had a great message from you, Neil, thank you, and you will hear more from me soon. Til then: what does "wabi-sabi" mean? It's written in my notebook as something you said but I included no meaning! Duh.

  • Keith S. Chambers

No, no Mod Podge [I had to look that up and did recognize the label from my various forays into different art stores].

no sir, that is a blended acrylic varnish --- different varnish types to get something not glossy but not too satiny. Years of playing with the plastic goo [because I never cared for oils] has left me with a few recipes under my hat and a love for glazing layers of washes and varnishes. tmi?

    See you in the mail!

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

happy the book cover wasn't too shocking.  Back from the USA now, very jet lagged.

  • JOB [5Blanks]

    yes!

  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Just Wait, Neil! Surprise on July 10th!

'Glad it arrived ahead of TIME...tea...and...
