Why I am involved in Mail-Art:

It is extremely interesting to me as I have written extensively about Andy Warhol's pop art ethos and Factory subculture and their impact on youth-oriented subcultures in the U.S. Some of the artists I cover are pop and abstract expressionists. The musicians include Velvet Underground, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Brian Ferry, NY Dolls and numerous others who were inspired by Warhol.

  May be, it's good idea to make new project about Mail Art/Artistamps, gather works, send docs - go by standard way... What will be the subject of Your book? Mail art is great international art movement with very long history, thousands members (4 generations) and exhibitions all over the world, hundreds of books, several PhD dissertations, etc...
