Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
Having run across a reference to mail art in my web-browsing just this morning, I m intrigued & love the idea of having treasures arrive in the mail!
I work as a costume designer & dressmaker, & long ago got an MFA (Master of Fine Arts) degree from SMU, Dallas. It would be great to have an excuse to flex my pencil-wielding muscles again.

Penn, Welcome to this unique community of mail artists. Have fun!

PS: My IUOMA avatar is a life mask of me as Gaia, Earth Goddess. I used seed pods, snakeskin, feathers, bone animals and semi-precious stones, as well as other decorative items.

Just have fun--we're not a group that judges talent, expression, etc. some of us are more clever than others, more humorous, more talented as painters, calligraphers, etc--BUT ALL  of us have something unique to contribute to this genre, and to the world. Looking forward to seeing your contributions in the mail and online!
