Yep - possums jump & when they land on your tin roof & then run across it - you'd swear they have hobnail boots on.  We watch a mother & 2 babies walk across the neighbour's roof, on to the cable wire, through the trees & then on to the telephone wires.  Our kookaburras are great too - not only do they laugh at some ungodly hour in the morning, we have lost goldfish to them.  Woke one morning to a slapping sound on the front footpath - a kookaburra had pinched a goldfish out of our pond & was beating it to death on our footpath before taking it off to devour it!  Gotta love wildlife!

Hi Andy I hope to see you at the Tate Britain on the 5th at noon. At one oclock we have a huge table reserved at the Morpeth Arms, on Millbank going towards Vauxhall Bridge. Very good fish and chips there.

Hi Andy - keep in touch re your trip Down Under - if you get to Brisbane - there's a bed here for you both -we hope to be in UK in Sept/Oct to check out areas that Vic's ancestor's came from. So - hope we don't pass each other...

Let's hope we can coordinate - we'll only be away for 4-5 weeks - wouldn't want to miss the chance of showing you our neck of the woods.  Hey - I'm an artist in residence for a Studio Crawl in May.  This crawl takes place over 4 weekends & covers lots of miles.  The one I'm involved in is with 6 or 7 artists - 3 in one town, Boonah, 1 in a small village, Aratula, about 15 minutes from Boonah & then 2 friends & I at Tarome, about 10 mins from Aratula.  We hope people will come  - if not we'll have a wonderful weekend of playing with textiles.  My Mail Art will be strung around the studio - will send you the link when it's all up & running - just a little like the one we went on with you - well, sorta like it.  There will be wine & nibblies involved, I'm sure.

Andy--Thanks for the postcard!  (The "new" address is just for a post-box in town--so the old address you have still works, too.)  I hope January has been kind to you & I'll send some mail your way before too long!
